Celebrating Local Women

It was 100 years ago this year that Canadian women first got the opportunity to vote in federal elections. To honour that accomplishment, we have Betty Jo Belton, archivist from the Stratford-Perth Archives, who will be presenting on "Equal Time:Celebrating Women's History in Stratford-Perth". She will have a variety of documents and artifacts from their collection to showcase some of the noted and notorious women of Stratford and Perth County.

Join us at the Stratford-Perth Archives, 4273 Line 34 (Highway 8), just outside the Stratford city limits at 1:30 on June 23 as we learn more about those ladies that went before us.  Stay afterward for light refreshments and networking in the board room.  All welcome and lots of free parking.
